Free Spyware Remover Download

Where can I find a good spyware remover free?

My computer is infected with spyware but I can't find a free program that will both scan AND remove the problem. Most of them will do a system scan but then say that to fix and/or delete the files I need to subscribe. I need something free that will eliminate these problems once and for all. Can anyone help me?
