Free Spyware Remover Download

Every time I download a "free" spyware remover it says I have to enter a serial number, which requires a paid

I am geeting tons of popups and who knows what other crap slowing my computer down after I downloaded limewire> I uninstalled limewire, but the spyware not go away. Now I am trying to remove the spyware, and somebody said Spybot was a free spyware remover, but I downloaded spybot and it said I had to register and get a serial number, which required payment. I also tried Stopzilla, but I got the same thing--needed to register in order for it to remove my spyware. So does anyone know of any programs that will actually remove your spyware free of charge with no paid registration required? If so what is the name of the program, and/or can you give me a link to a page to download it?

3. grisoft.com.. them make avg antivirus and avg spyware.. it is free and works quite well... quite well.. they make it a little hard to find the free stuff on the site but it is on there i guarentee you that...
4. Let me know what kind of anti spyware u are using?. as i have some anti spywares and thy are working to. but the best way is yahoo anti-spy, its free and easy to use. just download it from yahoo.

Spybot should NOT be asking you to register or anything else... it is free (they only have a button for domations on the website)... you REALLY need to be careful about people who post links to websites that are bogus. most likely you did not downloda spybot from the spybot site which is www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html I HIGHLY recommend you do a web based virus scan from this site: http://housecall65.trendmicro.com/ uninstall the spybot you have and anything else suspicious in add/remove programs turn off your system restore until you've cleaned your system run the web virus scan get spybot from the site I gave you (if you doubt, google spybot, and you will see I am giving you correct link) Then I highly suggest once this stuff is clean you get antivirus/firewall from a reliable vendor like mcafee and run auto updates for it and configure it properly. Also windows update for security updates. good luck.
