I have a trojan virus on my computer. I am currently running Norton Anti virus, but Norton cannot it.? I am using windows XP and the anti-virus I am using is Norton. I Have a virus even thought i have norton 360? I Have located the infected files with norton but because it is a trojan virus norton is making me manually delete the files. When i down load the trojan remover from systematic (Norton's programmer thing) it says that it could not locate the trojan even though know exactly where it is. When ever i try to delete the infected file my computer freezes. I have managed to move the file into a folder but my computer says i do not have the authorization to delete the file even though i am the computer administrator!!! I have Norton 2009 the whole package and after scanning three days ago, Norton said I had 3 unresolved Trojan.Brisv.Alinf. I went to the website and download the Norton Symantic Remover tool and after scanning it said no virsus found. I scan Norton full custom scan and still there. I download another remover tool call Trojan Remover and it took about two hours and it said it found a file but it didnt delete it or get rid of the virsus. I goggle command prompts and started with the control panel and system tools and turn off system restore. Then I restarted computer ran another scan and virus still there.. Then I tried the command prompt of typing in attrib. autorun.inf. -h-s-r and it said file not found in the drive. Last thing, I tried the command prompt again because the virus is located in users.\annieloe\documents\limewire\saved\everybody keeny chesney. mps, so i typed that in because its located in the c: drive and it still there. Oh last thing, I also tried to run these scans in safe mode... Need a real Trojan/Virus remover :(? Ok, Im online because Firefox will run and IE wont because of trojans and viruses. I downloaded removers and my PC is still jacked up, some scans took 27 hours and didnt fix anything. Slow PC, programs dont open, slow everything. AntiVir Guard, Ad-Aware SE personal, BitDefender, all those microsoft scaners, Norton, nothing is helping me, I cant even reinstall windows because my version of XP is higher then the XP on the disc. How to remove a stubborn redirecting trojan? I recently got a trojan that redirects my web browser to a random website. When I try a Yahoo! or Google search, it takes me away to an ad site. I have tried multiple programs to remove it but none work. So far I have tried: Trojan Hunter Norton Anti-Virus Trend Micro Antivirus AVG Avast! Trojan Remover Live One Care Ad-Aware Malewarebytes and Spybot: Search and Destroy None of these programs have gotten it out. Is there any other ones that would work? Trojan Problem? Avast detected 3 trojans on my computer. I can't remember exactly what they were, but they were along the lines of trojan-gen and 2 others, I don't remember what they were, or where they came from. Anyhow, Avast can detect them, but everytime I try to move them to the chest or delete them, it says and error occured in the process. I've tried Trojan Hunter, Trojan remover, VCleaner, Spybot, even Norton and nothing seems to be able to delete these things! I tried everything from using CCleaner, malwarebytes, spybot S & D, AVG, Norton 2009, etc. But every time I run a scan through Spyzilla, none of these rogues seems to be going away. computer virus please help? A new virus has attacked all the machines. It has disabled regedit, folder options, cmd etc. It is creating many files with the folder names and their icon looks like directory but the details show it as application. I booted through cd and located sembakocfg.....exe in the windows directory and deleted but it still keeps coming. I disabled the windows restore option also but still it keeps coming. I used a third party registry editor and deleted the shell = sembako but it immedeatly returns. Most ot popular anti virus like norton, protectorplus, spybot, trojan remover are all ineffective to cure What is this virus and what should be done is there any way to cure it other than formatting. please inform me as early as possible . My Windows Vista can't download? I have a Windows Vista laptop, and for the last two weeks, I can't download anything (happened before Confictor C). It asks where to save, it downloads, but when I go there, it is not there. I even searched them too! I have to get my friend to send me anything I need through email or AIM. Help with Trojan Vundo, Adware, Task Manager, and pop-ups? I am having a lot of trouble with my computer. help with removing a trojan virus? ok so ive been having this problem for a couple of days. I was just browsing here on yahoo! answers when my antivirus popped up saying that it had detected a trojan virus, and that it was removed. I immediately scanned the entire computer and it found 2 infected files in my temporary internet files, which i cleared. it was the trojan generic.dx. i scanned with mcafee so many times and got rid of it but half an hour later, it found generic downloader.ab. I didn't know what to do, i scanned my computer again but it wouldnt be removed. I restarted in safe mode and scanned, but it didnt find anything. So I was just using my computer normally because it functioned ok, but it started going really slow. I found 3 trojan processes running on my computer, gadcom.exe, prunnet.exe, and acroRD32.exe. I ended them but my computer was still going really slow. it got to the point where I couldn't even start up the computer because it said that the main system config. file was corrupt or missing. so last night i did PC recovery using my set up disks, which basically did the same as reformating and deleted all of my files and I had to set up my computer all over again. I did a scan this time using Norton Antivirus, and now it finds 2 trojan.vundo viruses that it cannot get rid of. they are both in my temporary internet files on internet explorer, which i do not use (i use firefox). i tried clearing all of my temporary files, cookies, cleared the cache and browsing history, but it still finds it. It cant remove them. I downloaded the vundo remover tool from symantec (norton) and it scans the entire computer but it doesnt find anything, yet the norton antivirus says it does find it and cant remove it. Also, I checked my registry keys and there is nothing abnormal there, none of the trojan files are in the registry. What can i do and why does it keep coming back?! I've tried everything!! sorry its so long, but any help is SO GREATLY appreciated!!

Trojan.Brivs.A!inf from Limwire? Okay heres what happened I downloaded a song from LimeWire and it had a Trojan.Brivs.A!inf attached to it and LimeWire asked that the file was coruppted and It asked if I wanted to Continue the download I said no but after I clicked that Norton Came up and it said I had a Trojan.Brivs.A!inf so I ran malwarebytes and it did not find it and I tries symantecs Trojan.Brivs.A!inf remover and it did not find it and I know where the virus is and it's in the Incomplete folder of Limewire I have tried to delete the file and the folder but it say cannot delete it is being used by another person or program so I uninstalled LimeWire and it did not delete the folders I have tried every way I know I think I only downloaded a small chunk of the virus and thats why it's showing the warnings. I have an idea but I'm not sure if it will work my idea was to go on to limewire download they Trojan infected song all the way and run the Antivirus and see if it detects it. Dell Inspiron Laptop Question? my dell laptop is acting really weirdly. it connects to the internet, like it says i'm connected to my network, but i can't get the internet to work. IE, firefox, and google chrome all say the webpage can't be displayed when any website is typed in. does anyone know what the problem is (or has this happened to anyone else)? AVG (security program) found a trojan which mcaffe, norton, and ccleaner, and trojan remover missed, so i'm thinking it's a false positive (others have reported that it is). how can i fix this? if i can't fix this, i will have to shell out for a brand new laptop! and i can't wipe the system because i have very important files on the computer.

All virus scans are clean - Spybot, Defender, Norton, The Cleaner(for trojans) and my Trojan Remover program expired - but something is wrong - computer is acting strange and things are changing, etc. :) Pls help Thanks for the post beer but I am not too into trusting any links from here now - free does not mean safe - are the ones I mentioned safe or does anyone know what beer left me a link for anyways - he didn't say? How do I get rid of a backdoor trojan? The trojan is backdoor.generic2.YED and it always re-appears in my c drive as b.exe even after removing it with AVG. Website popups. Getting annoying, is it a trojan? I've got a problem lately with websites popping up regardless of the site I go on. I have Norton Antivirus from yahoo, and it's removed 2 trojans so far. I also have McAfee firewall and Advanced Spyware remover, which I run every day. The websites that pop up are mostly Bonus.com, Netster.com, and something for the Transformers movie. I think it may be a trojan, but they pop up even after Norton says it's removed. Do I need a new antivirus or firewall?

I downloaded something that may be Trojan spyware or virus? I was looking for a new todder bed yesterday and clicked a link to what I thought was an online store. All these windows starting popping up saying "initiating download", and my computer downloaded them. There was no "cancel" button and the "X" close button was gray and wouldn't let me close these windows. Now I have windows popping up every 3 minutes or so telling me "Somebody's trying to attack your PC! Click here to download spyware remover for total protection" clicked the OK and I was brought to a website for downloading spyware removers. I didn't download it. Also, my homepage keeps being set to this same page whenever I restart my computer. I have Norton and got an alert that Trojan-something was attempting to access my computer and was blocked. I went and did a search for files and applications that were modified at the time this downloading occured, and found some titled Trojan. I tried to delete all the files and stuff for that time period....(more coming in a few minutes) I deleted almost 100 files and apps, but like 10 won't let me because they are being used, but nothing is in the task manager. I also ran a full system scan through Norton and it didn't detect any viruses or spyware. How do get rid of these messages? Do you have any experience with this type of thing? Help trojan vundo!!!!!!!!!!? CPU running slow, thought I removed trojan, still having problems? I have been having major computer problems lately (Pop ups appearing whenever I'm using IE, slow overall CPU, and some pages will not load) and tried several things. I ran Spyware, Adaware, Norton Virus Scan, and the Google Spyware Remover. I also downloaded Mozilla Firefox. Is Trojan.Brisv.A removed? Ok I have windows Vista. I have norton 360 protection. I did a virus scan and it said I have Trojan.Brisv.A! and it couldn't remove it. what should i do trojan is not moving out of my computer even though i deleteitthroughantivirus and othersoft? Ok, it all started after a small download of a music file. It asked me to install I installed it and oh I shouldn’t have done it. My computer started showing that a hacker is trying to do something and asked me to get out of the internet. Virus all over! The desktop displayed-‘the page cannot be displayed’. after the installation process was complete I saw softwares that I hadn’t installed. I ran a scan I saw ‘trojangeneric.cmd’ in my computer. I installed windows xp sp3 on the c drive. After 3 to 4 days the speed of my computer became very slow. I installed windows xp sp2 on the c drive again. The virus (perhaps Trojan) appeared to be there in my computer. I installed trial version of Norton antivirus 2006 and it scanned 44 viruses. I deleted it and I don’t know what happened but the virus was still there. I installed ViRobot desktop 5.5 evaluation version and it scanned 33 or so malware (which had some websites), viruses like Trojan.win32.autoit, backdoor.hupigoan, and some Trojan in system volume information in both d and e drives. I tried to detect the worm32 by installing kaspersky virus remove, avast virus/worm remover application. But it did not recognize any. I tried to go to safe mode and the computer got stuck when it was in the safe mode screen before it asks wether to continue or not. I installed avast 4 home edition and got a registration key for free from the website. Avast detected viruses = win32:autoIT-CI{trj}, win32: Trojan-gen{trj} and win32: Ardamax-CI{trj}. HELP!! i can't get rid of a virus on my computer it's labeled Trojan.Brisv.A? i have Norton 360 Premier edition and they just send me to symantec who has me download the virus remover but when i run the scans it says cannot locate virus. WHAT DO I DO?

Vundo Removal Help!!? My computer's infected with the Vundo Trojan and I can't seen to be able to delete it. I've tried the Norton remover, Vundo Fix. But when I scan using XoftSpySE, it tells me that it's still there (I only have demo version). It also says I have FunWebProducts and DollarRevenue, so help on that would be appreciated. Thanks Out of the anti-virus things I have tried so far, only XoftSpySE can detect the viruses. So if I buy the full version, will it be able to remove it, no problem?

Why is my amd Phenom quad core 2.5 ghz processor constantly running at only 1 mhz? Brand new PC. after a few days it started to slow down allot. i already ran system restores & recovery and got no where. already ran trojan removers, root kit detectors, etc, got no where. norton 360 detects nothing. I think, however, that there is a program/virus/malware out there that can severely limit a processors power and/or fake its speed to a program reading the speed. in fact, i could probably code one myself in a matter of minutes. but the problem is that i CANNOT DETECT THIS PROGRAM/VIRUS/MALWARE and therefore dont know how to get rid of it or even if it exists or is on my pc.
