Free Spyware Remover Download

Is it alright ro remove AVG anti-spyware and replace with Spybot? I have installed AVG anti-spyware free version and have a lot of spywares in quarantine, now I wan to replace it with Spybot Search and Destroy. Is it adviseable to uninstall AVG? What will happen to the spywares in the quarantine since I can't delete those manually? Or shall I leave it there and install Spybot? What? I mean AVG anti-spyware, not AVG anti-virus for all you dumbers out there!

AVG Anti-Spyware has diabled my QuickTime--how do I fix it? Same question as user The Professor, but he didn't get a usable answer. Some minor rephrasing. Sometimes, when I try to run QuickTime, this error message pops up saying "There is no disk in the disk drive. Please insert disk into drive D:." There is no disk for this program; it was downloaded freeware and runs on my harddrive. If I try to click Cancel, Try Again, or Continue, it just keeps popping back up. I can't ignore it because, being an error message, it cannot simply be minimized, and the program will pause when this pops up, rendering it useless. This has only happened since I ran AVG Anti-Spyware Free, and now my Thunderbird won't open either. Help!

If you are here to tell me that avg is good, go to av-comparatives.org and check out the may report, avg doesn't even get a standard rating, and av-comparatives is one of the most trusted anti virus comparatives. Active Virus shield and Anti Vir are 10x better. But i wan't to know if their anti spyware is any good, i have spyware terminator, a squared, winpatrol, and spyware blaster. And no i don't want spybot or lavasoft, because they are just about as useless as avg anti viurs. i don't visit nasty sites, AVG is just the most overrated anti virus. It lets 2 out of 10 viruses in, compared to the 1 out of 20 of anti vir, and the 1 out of 100 of active virus shield. I have tested avg, i used it on a heavily infected computer. AVG anti-spyware? I was using AVG anti-spyware yesterday and i deleted 67 tracker cookies and a hijacker small(had a high threat risk) whatever that is. I have spyware that deletes SpybotS&D plus AVG-Anti-Virus.? How do I get rid of this spyware; I have run various anti-spyware programs that can be installed (Ad-Aware, AVG-Anti-Spyware, SUPERAntiSpyware). But if I try to install SpyBotS&D then spyware deletes the spybot.exe; so I can't open it! And it deletes the TeaTimer executable too! And when I try to install AVG-Anti-Virus it deletes the program folder so quick the installation fails! Also, I have picked up hundreds of files with the anti-spyware programs that did install; and still I have obvious problems. Including, my Internet Explorer opens every 5 minutes and tries to connect to a random IP Address like http://122.122.122.122/checkin.php or something like that; I forget. Should I do a Hijack This! log? If so, where is the best site to take this log?? Sorry, I did not mention; I can't use an online scanner at the moment; because the computer infected does not have an active Internet Connection for the next week or so. I will use F-Prot Anti Virus for DOS; cause I can get that on C: drive; and use a DOS boot disk to access it. Hopefully that will work; I can't try it yet because I have no Floppy Disks! AVG Anti-Spyware? Hello, a friend of mine has been trying without success to install AVG anti-spyware on her Vista pc. I have it on my XP without any problems but although it downloads on Vista - and states beforehand that it is compatible - it won't run, it comes up with an error window saying that Windows cannot run it.
